Vehicle Leasing For Industry - We Disclose A Couple Of The Benefits Of Leasing Over Buying.

Lets face it, cars are not inexpensive, ok you can pick up a scrappy banger for a few hundred quid, but what business owner wants to see their reps turning up to important meetings and client liasons in a hunk of junk? And in addition what would that say about your business? Is that the sort of image you are aiming to project? I very much doubt it. Ofcourse on the other side of the scale, if you were looking to buy every member of your ten strong sales rep team a brand new top spec SAAB 9-5, then you would have a monsterous bill to foot that weighs in at just shy of three hundred and eighty thousand pounds! Ofcourse the odds are that unless you are doing very well indeed, you wouldnt even deem this option as practical, but there is another way, a way in which you can both have your proverbial cake and eat it, I am ofcourse talking about Car Leasing.

Car Leasing Contract Hire means that you can equip your sales reps and other executives with cars befitting of a person of their status, without putting your company into the red, additionally, most of the best leasing companies will actually offer insurance and maintenance packages aswell, this means that you have an effectual one stop shop for all your fleet needs. By adopting this methodology you can also change your vehicles a lot more frequently than you would be able to if you had purchased outright. This means that you can have the lastest model every twelve months, and get that nice new merc you saw on the advert last night without incurring any further cost.

Ofcourse there are other benefits of vehicle leasing than just fleet cars, many companies often find themselves in need for a van on the odd occasion, clearly there is little benefit from buying one if you are not going to use it on a regular basis, most car leasing companies also lease vans, and if you already have an agreement in place with them for your car leasing then getting hold of a van when you need one will be as simple as picking up the phone and waiting an hour or two for it to be delivered to your place of work. Also you will find the rates much cheaper that you would if you went to a specialist short term van leasing company.

Ofcourse its not only businesses who can benefit from leasing a car, many private individuals lease cars either to take the place of their own vehicle whilst it is in the garage, or for occasions which require a larger vehicle such as people carrier for that camping trip with the kids. Also, with lots of high end cars such as porche caymens available for lease, quite a few individuals lease a car just to give themselves a luxury.

An Impartial Review Of My BMW X6

Described by Top Gear as ‘a car for German Concrete salesmen’ I really love my BMW x6 so I thought I’d share just a few reasons why.

While its not a great looker it is certainly very smart, but doesn’t attract undue attention. But it handles like a dream and that’s what counts, especially on fast, congested and often rain-soaked roads. The clever dynamic stability control and dynamic performance control systems make cornering at speed a breeze.

The ride is remarkably comfortable, even for a man of my size and weight (much too fat and heavy). The interior is very spacious, especially in the front, which is great if you have long legs, but there is also plenty of room in the back making it ideal for family days out or long drives at weekends.

Now I’m driving the standard straight-six 35i petrol engine BMW x6 offering 306bhp which will go from 0 to 60mph in a respectable 6.7 seconds. But you may prefer the high performance twin-turbo 50i offering 407bhp and the ability to go from 0 to 60mph in around 5.4 seconds which will leave many sports cars sputtering in your wake.

The overall quality of engineering in this vehicle should be an example to all automobile manufacturers, demonstrating exactly how it should be done. Much of the credit for this must go the the Amercan manufacturing plant and their quality control.

Mine came with whole host of car accessories as standard including parking sensors, xenon headlamps and climate control. For me, the parking sensors have been invaluable in helping preserve the pristine paintwork.

But the one big drawback of this car is the cost. It’s expensive to get on the road and expensive to run. But luckily there are some very affordable and appealing car leasing deals that can get you behind the wheel of one of these fantastic cars for a very reasonable cost. The best fuel use you are likely to see is around 34mpg so it’s not the cheapest vehicle to fill at the gas pumps. Be warned that if you opt for the high performance 4.4 litre engine you will struggle to achieve 20mpg.

Too Many Gadgets For One Car

I may not be the most experience driver in the world, but I do have a strong relationship with my car. It might have been made over a decade ago, but it fulfills all my requirements. This is namely transport me from A to B and occasionally keep the rain off my head. I get no end of mocking from my mates however as their cars are a lot newer and have more gadgets than the inspector himself. I’ll admit that some developments can be useful, but for the most part they are a waste of space and cause more aggro than they save. Here a just a selection of reasons why I reject tech in my car

1.) Causes more problems than solves. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had to rescue my friend after his hydraulic suspension system went AWOL on the highway. Or having to make excuses for a another friend who always arrives late for gatherings after his sat nav starts speaking French. The fact is, the less technology in your car, the fewer things there are to go wrong and the greater chance you’ll have a stress free drive

2.) Over dependence. Ask your granddad how he managed to get around in his old Ford Cortina and he’ll tell you that he only had the position of the sun to guide him and a dipping stick to work out how much petrol he had left. At the same time he’ll explain how he always had enough fuel and getting lost wasn’t in his vocabulary. He may be stretching the truth a little, but I would put money on the fact a higher percentage of road users run into problems such as these nowadays. This is largely because doing something like trusting a sav nav device that has 40mil roads in its data center might sound like a good idea, but you soon realise why its not when the Lincoln Road you end up at, is 150 miles from the Lincoln Road you wanted to get to.

3.) Theft. You might consider my view of the world too negative, but as far as I’m concerned the more tech you have in your car, the more of a target it becomes to thieves. Criminals are only human and they want to be listening to Dolby surround sound as they hotwire you car and have a perfectly air conditioned 15 degrees environment to drive in whilst being chased by the cops. For these reasons, and maybe a couple more important ones, cars with lots of expensive gadgets get broken into and nicked more frequently that plain old boring cars. This is not always the best decision thieves can make however, as it very likely some of that tech will go wrong and cause them to break down or get horribly lost.

GT4 Challenge Of Great Britain

There is Aston Martin GT4 race that takes place in Oulton Park in United Kingdom. On the 21st August the race takes place. And the news is that the design director of Aston Martin will be participating in this race. I am very much looking forward to see the GT4 race against each other and there will be some rivalry from previous years. So if you have money to buy a car as powerful as luxurious as Aston Martin then you should definitely be heading to Oulton Park this coming Saturday.

The design Director of Aston Martin is Marek Reichman. He joined Aston Martin in May 2005. This Saturday he will get behind the wheels of GT4 with his colleague Chris Porritt. The length of the race is going to be upto 150 minutes. The practice, qualifying and main race will be all done on the same day. The owners of Vantage N24 and GT4 are looking forward to this race in Oulton Park, this should be exciting. The fastest car I have sat on has to be BMW M3 and VW Golf GTI but when comparing to Aston Martin cars Volkswagen cars are not in the same level. This is just my opinion though as I know some people will question that.

Regarding the race Marek said that the design team has always been deeply involved within the design of all the cars. I always wanted to get involved closely and where to start than actually starting the race as you get to see and evaluate the car. This is a great introduction for me.

For general public this is a great opportunity to see these super cars in action in front of your eyes. The Aston Martin GT4 has already won few races in Nurburbring, Spa 24 Hours and Dubai. Me and my brother will be getting there in his Audi r8.

The Best Colour For A Car

When buying a car, colour is a very important factor to consider, even more so than which instant car insurance quote to use. Some colours drift in and out of fashion over the years while some remain consistently popular. Some people will stick with one colour for all their cars, some will chop and change, others will choose a shade which they think best suits the car. As we can see there are a multitude of factors to consider in what will ultimately be something that comes down to personal preference. The only stance when this is not true is when cars are produced that are only available in one colour, as Henry Ford once said about the model T ‘you can have it in any colour, as long as it’s black!’ There are some modern cars that follow this trend, the new Focus RS500 for example is only available with a matt black finish.

Primer black is in vouge at the moment, rich middle-easterm businessmen will request expensive sportscars made to order in this and various other eye-catching hues such as chrome, greatly increasing the one day car insurance costs. What should us style-conscious mere mortals do then when choosing a paintjob for our new motor? White is very popular currently after years of ridicule mainly centering around the accusation that white cars looked like taxis. Black and Silver are both here to stay, nothing looks sleeker than a freshly washed and polished jet black paint job, leave to gather dust however and your pride and joy will very quickly resemble a relic. Silver is a stylish if safe option, easy to keep clean and suitable for most shapes, silver looks slick but doesn’t turn many heads.

Blue and Red are common choices for small cars and family estates and these two primary paint jobs are often linked with certain marques and models. Red for example is associated with quick Japanese pocket rockets such as the Honda Civic Type R while dark metallic blue is often featured on fast Fords which have temporary car insurance. The more outlandish hue of yellow is commonly found on Seat models, echoing their fiery Spanish heritage, and is synonymous with the Lotus Elise. British Racing green is common choice for Jags and Astons, harking back to race cars of the 1950s. The spectrum of colour in British motoring is vast, a rainbow if hues can be found with a short glance across the street, the only shade which seems to be a no-no at present is brown!

2011 COTY Candidates

The 2010 Car of the Year prize was a closely fought contest, VolksWagen eventually came out on top with it’s fabulous Polo, the size, interior spec and efficiency of the engines impressed judges enough to award it the gong last year, impressing over the Toyota iQ and Vauxhall Astra, it also came with a surprisingly low temporary car insurance premium. VW are a manufacturer on the up with a stable of critically acclaimed models such as the Scirroco and Golf, they wont be gunning for the 2011 prize however seeing as they don’t have a new enough release.

Rest assured however that the 2011 prize will be as fierclely competitive as 2010 as many big players fighting to nick the glovally recognoised award so sought after in auto industry. Here are a selection of the 2011 hopefuls:

Alfa-Romeo Guilietta
First up is the Alfa Romeo Guilietta, this the replacement for the sleek 159 and looks as every bit as beautiful as every other Alfa on the market. The smooth, sweeping coupe-like lines mark a departure for Alfa in the shape of their flagship saloon line. You can guarantee the Alfa will be the best looking car in the line up, but can the passionate Italian brand overcome reliability issues to snatch the prize this year?

Audi A1
The nearest competitor will be the Audi A1, this has redefined the hatchback sector in terms of build quality. The fixtures and fittings are second to none, in line with entire Audi range. The BMW 1-series was a commercial success and the moot point for Audi will be to up-root the Bavarian barons in the premium-priced small family car sector. Can they do it? Only time will tell. This will also be the Audi with the lowest short term car insurance premium

Citroen DS3
Continuing in the small car sector, only this time erring the hot hatch sub-sector, we have the Citroen DS3. This pocket rocket offers off the wall looks and a peppy power plant to match. Citroen’s first hot hatch since the lackluster C2 VTS goes up against the devastatingly rapid Renaultsport Clio Cup in a inter-Franco civil war! Young motorists will be queuing up to get one day car insurance on this baby!

These are just a few of the thirty four candidates in line for the throne in 2011. Whatever the outcome, you can be sure of one thing: you will want one! Keep your ears peeled for the winner due to be announced in late 2010/early 2011.

The Top Cars Likely To Get Stolen & Choosing Suitable Insurance

Everyone likes fancy cars, especially thieves. Unfortunately having a flashy car can very easily make you a target for thieves, interested in both the car and the contents in it as well. Having an expensive car makes car insurance that little bit more important once you realise just how coveted your car is.
According to Insurancelane, the top three most likely cars to get stolen are the BMW M Roadster, Acura Integra and the Mercury Marauder.

Each of these cars have a very high price tag, but unfortunately they’re likelihood of getting stolen can very easily increase the cost of car insurance, as well as obviously the car’s value and performance as well.
Other cars to make the list included the Audi S4 which was the fourth most likely car to get stolen, followed closely by the Jaguar XJR, Suzuki Aerio and Land Rover Range Rover.

Positions 8-10 were taken up by the Cadillac Edcalade, Audi A8 and the Mercedes Benz 600.
Of course if you have you heart set on buying one of these cars, that doesn’t mean you should ditch the dream altogether. It’s still possible to get one of these cars, however it is very important to pay attention to the insurance you take out with it, considering the likelihood of it getting robbed.

The internet is a great place to start car insurance shopping, if you haven’t already. Considering the value of each of the cars, it’s easy to attract thieves which aren’t interested in stealing the car, but instead the contents. So if you leave expensive items in your car for example gadgets such as an MP3 Player or mobile phone, handbags - any accessories, make sure you keep them out of sight or for gadgets consider taking out an insurance policy if you car insurance doesn’t already cover them, e.g. iPhone insurance if you have a high-end mobile phone such as this.

But, the most important thing to focus on is the main car insurance policy, as this will often cover internal valuables, although it is always recommended to read the small print first.

The internet is a great place to begin if you’re looking for affordable car insurance for an expensive car. There are hundreds of different product and price comparison websites online, but many sites will list them all in one place, making it easy to compare all of the different options they have against each other.

Many of these sites also carry customer reviews, so you can easily find out which companies are worth going with and which ones aren’t. Although many car insurance companies carry customer reviews on their own websites, they tend to only show the best ones which makes it difficult to get an objective view of the company and what they have to offer.

Of course, as well as going online, it may be worth asking friends, family and colleagues who drive similarily priced cars, how they find insurance quotes and which companies they have been with. Even if they are not able to recommend an insurance company that’s typically aimed at high value cars, they should be able to offer you some reviews of the companies they have been with, who may well turn out to provide well-priced insurance for your car.

History Of The Hummer To Hummer Limo Hire

Whenever a group of four-wheelers starts talking about Hummers, the conversation inevitably turns into a debate over the differences between civilian and military versions.

Hummer Limo Hire Hummer Limo Hire

Some people claim that the two are virtually identical except for a few more creature comforts inside the civilian model, while others swear the two models share almost nothing. The biggest difference is obvious: The interiors are worlds apart. While the Spartan military-issue interior is dominated by a giant radio and features cool canvas seats, the civilian model can include comfortable leather seats, carbon-fiber dash inserts, and enough creature comforts, doo-dads, and gadgets to help justify the hefty £45,000-plus price tag.

Hummer Limo Hire Hummer Limo Hire

Civilian models have completely different dashes filled with gauges that we suspect have been borrowed from semi-trucks and have lots of trim for a finished look. All you get on military ones is uncovered aluminium and a simple uncluttered dash.

On June 1, 2009, as a part of the General Motors bankruptcy announcement, the company revealed that the Hummer brand would be discontinued. However, the following day GM announced that instead it had reached a deal to sell the brand to an undisclosed Chinese company. On 2 June 2009, CNN and The New York Times identified the buyer of the Hummer truck unit as China-based Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Company. Later that day, Sichuan Tengzhong confirmed the sale on their website.

On June 26, 2009 Chinese state radio announced that the bid by Sichuan Tengzhong to buy Hummer would be blocked on environmental grounds and that the National Development and Reform Commission would also block the bid as Sichuan Tengzhong “lacks expertise in car production”. Tengzhong was expected to keep HUMMER a U.S.-based company. Though an exact location had not been selected, HUMMER global headquarters would have been in the United States. Under the terms of the agreement, Tengzhong would have initially contracted production and major components to General Motors.

From Military vehicle to Civilian Vehicle to an all stretched 16 seat Limousine, the Hummer has gone a long way from what it was years ago. The Hummer now meets European COIF standards to transport people in great style. The Hummer Limousine Hire has had an all out make over. Bar with neon lights, 2000 watt sound systems, TV screens, DVD players, iPod connectors, Ice machines, laser lights, mirrored ceiling and a lot more to list here.

Originally it was almost impossible to get one of the Hummers Coifed but not they can easily be converted and adapted to meet all legal requirements of the UK and European laws. Its evident from history to now that the law restrictions did not affect the mass production of the limousines and how the law changed to adapt to the great stretch limousines.
